Michael was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He began his musical career at an early age playing at church and after-school bands. He was trained classically in Trumpet Performance and Pedagogy at Virginia Polytechnic Institute.While in school and afterwards, he performed at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. From Salsa to Polka and everything in between, he played in every musical opportunity afforded him. Michael then started working for Cruise lines as a trumpet player and vocalist. During his career, he has had the fortunate privilege to perform with Arturo Sandoval, The Coasters, The Drifters, The Platters,  Domenick Allen (Foreigner), Tony Tillman, Doug Cameron, Greg Bonham and many others. Michael has settled in Las Vegas and is now working with Backbeat Village.
